A message can not be created unless the four mandatory fields each contain at least one alphanumeric character. The four fields are "User", "Code", "Subject" and "Message Body".
In order to create a message, you must have a valid user name and a security code. These should be entered into the fields "User" and "Code" respectively. Your message must have a subject and a body.
When you have completed your message, click on the submit button. After a few seconds you will see a message on the screen which will say whether or not your message was accepted by the system.
Messages which have the same subject should be grouped together. This is done by creating child messages. Groups of messages are often called threads.
To create a child message, first go to the message which you would like to be the parent. Click on "Create A Message". Enter the "User", "Code", "Subject" and "Message Body" fields and click on submit. The new message will be a child of the parent.
Messages are grouped together into a hierarchy of threads. All the messages in a thread should be about the same subject. For example:
The thread which has been updated most recently will always be at the top. For example, adding another child message to the "Committee" thread will cause the whole "Committee" thread to move above the "District U12s" thread.
Only two levels of the hierarchy are displayed on a particular page.
